THE HARVEY PARKER TRUST LAUNCH CONCERT
Sunday, April 30 2023, 7:30pm
Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London
With the support of London's South Bank Centre, the Harvey Parker Trust held a special concert to launch the Trust and raise funds for its vital work to support the mental health of young creatives.
With special guest host YolanDa Brown, we were joined by an illustrious line-up of artists including Grammy award-winning Clean Bandit, internationally recognised cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Europe’s first ethnically diverse professional orchestra Chineke! Orchestra, jazz collective from award-winning Tomorrow’s Warriors, members of the National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain, Future Talent and Choir of Westminster and surprise guest artist Years & Years.
Over 140 performers came together in a remarkable spectacle of sound and inspiration to raise awareness and support for the mental wellbeing of young, queer, marginalised, gifted creatives facing mental challenge.
